Threads thread maker

500 characters, the same as a single post. Paste your text above and every part is cut to fit, with its number counted in.

Between paragraphs first, then between sentences, then between words. It only cuts inside a word when one word is longer than a whole post. Put a line with --- where you want a new post to start, whatever the length.

No. There is no AI here: every word stays as you wrote it, in the same order. The splitter only decides where each post ends and adds the number if you want one.

Numbers like 1/5 tell readers how long the thread is and help them find their place when a reply shows on its own. Pick a style above or turn numbering off; the number is counted toward each post’s limit either way.

Meta’s documentation says Threads counts each emoji by its size in bytes, so a smiley counts as 4 and an emoji made of several (a family, a skin tone, a flag) as more. The splitter counts it the same way, so a part that looks short is not rejected.

No. The splitting and counting run in your browser, and nothing you type leaves it. Your draft stays in this browser so a reload does not lose it, until you clear it.

Yes, on X, Bluesky and Mastodon. Foliwo publishes the first post and each reply under it, up to 25 posts, at the time you pick.
