Mastodon post preview

Up to 4. Add more above and the preview shows only the ones Mastodon would post, and says so.

Close. These are the previews the Foliwo composer shows while you write a post. Each phone wraps text a little differently and the networks change their apps, so treat line breaks and the “…more” point as approximate.

Each network has its own best shape: 1:1 on LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Facebook, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord, 4:5 on Instagram and Threads, 2:3 on Pinterest, 4:3 on Google Business Profile. The check above each preview tells you when an image is outside what a network accepts or will look soft.

No. Your browser reads the images and shows them from there, and nothing you type or add is sent anywhere. They stay in this browser so a reload does not lose them, until you clear them.

A link card is made by fetching the page you link to, which would mean sending your link to a server. This tool never does that, so links show as text. When you schedule the post with Foliwo, the composer shows the card.

Create a Foliwo account. The composer shows these same previews for every channel you post to and publishes at the time you pick.
