Schedule itBold and italic text on each network
Styled letters paste anywhere text goes, but each network treats them a little differently.
- Styled letters work in posts, comments, your headline and your About section.
- Articles and newsletters have their own bold button, so use real formatting there.
- The feed shows about the first 210 characters before “…see more”. One bold line at the top is the hook people see.
- Search may not find words written in styled letters, so keep names and keywords plain.
- X counts every styled letter as 2 characters, so a bold sentence takes twice the room of a plain one. The count above shows what it costs.
- Styled letters work in posts, replies, your bio and your display name.
- Hashtags and @mentions stay plain here, so they still link.
- Search may not find words written in styled letters, so keep names and keywords plain.
- Styled letters work in captions, comments and your bio. Usernames take plain letters only.
- A hashtag in styled letters is a different tag, so the formatter leaves hashtags plain and they keep showing in the hashtag’s feed.
- The feed shows about the first 125 characters before “…more”. A bold first line is what people read.
- Captions stop at 2,200 characters, counting each styled letter.
